As the Senior Technical Production Manager on our Marketing and Communications team, you will lead a team dedicated to creating world-class AV experiences for live events and studio productions at Stand Together. Your leadership will ensure that our technical production capabilities support everything from small, in-house meetings to large-scale events, and that our in-house studio operates seamlessly to deliver high-quality content. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working cross-functionally to bring compelling audio-visual experiences to life.
How You Will Contribute
- Lead and manage a team of AV professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Oversee AV support for internal meetings, HQ-hosted events, and external company-sponsored events.
- Plan, design, and implement AV systems to ensure functionality, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Work closely with internal departments and external partners to deliver seamless AV execution for events.
- Develop and maintain standard specifications for AV equipment, optimizing for both functionality and cost.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during live events, ensuring minimal disruption and quality output.
- Oversee the in-house studio team, managing schedules, equipment maintenance, and quality control.
- Ensure smooth workflows between the AV team and other departments that rely on AV content.
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to bring innovative solutions to the team.
- Create and maintain documentation for all AV systems, including system designs and user guides.
What You Will Bring
- Minimum 10 years of experience in AV technical roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
- Strong technical expertise in current AV technologies, including studio infrastructure, projection systems, audio systems, video conferencing, and digital signage.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality AV experiences across a range of event sizes and types.
- Understanding of networking principles as they relate to AV systems.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and with external partners.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for events.
- Proficiency in studio production, including lighting, audio, and video recording, and content editing.
- Experience managing a professional studio environment and production team.
