Project Manager, Programs and Events
Job Description
Your Responsibilities Include
- Serve as the primary project manager for cross functional workstreams contributing to the planning and execution of Stand Together’s biannual summits as well as a number of smaller events throughout the year.
- Provide clear direction to teammates, vendors, and internal and external stakeholders to ensure that priorities are understood and deadlines are met.
- Track full project progress relative to the goals, metrics, and timelines. Regularly connect the team to the status of the portfolio and projects.
- Establish and utilize a communication system to ensure accountability and on-time deliverables.
- Identify opportunities for optimization and scaling through collaboration across the team.
Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization
- 5+ years of experience managing creative, event-based, or program-based projects
- Prior experience or interest in supervising and mentoring a team preferred
- Ability to drive multiple projects to completion in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently with a wide variety of audiences
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work well with staff of all levels, including executives
- Impeccable attention to detail and organizational skills
- High sense of urgency and initiative
- Commitment to operational excellence and project delivery
