Enterprise Applications Manager
Job Description
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Lead a team of product owners and relationship managers, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Define clear goals and objectives for the team and establish metrics to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that values communication, accountability, and innovation.
- Define and communicate the strategic vision and roadmap for IT products, aligning with business goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to prioritize initiatives based on business value and strategic alignment.
- Establish and enforce best practices for application maintenance, including monitoring performance, resolving issues, and implementing upgrades and patches.
- Develop and implement service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track system reliability and availability.
- Oversee the monitoring of performance and usage of enterprise applications, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Drive operational efficiency through application strategy.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including department heads, business unit leaders, and external vendors.
Skills You Bring to the Organization
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with IT-related technology and business processes
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a manager
- Experience with hands-on administration, configuration, and support.
- Proven experience in enterprise application management, including implementation, maintenance, and support.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Solid understanding of enterprise software systems, integration technologies, and IT infrastructure.
- Experience with relationship management, application management, and product ownership.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for enterprise application management and governance.
Stand Out Candidates will Bring
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Experience implementing and/or supporting enterprise and large-scale systems, specifically in the IT area.
- Exceptional ability to create partnerships with technical leaders and business leaders.
- Ability to manage a portfolio of bigger and smaller bets while balancing immediate business value, short-term goals, and long-term vision.
- A healthy blend of deep technical knowledge, customer-centric thinking, business process understanding, and product-centric thinking.
