Events Associate
Job Description
Your Responsibilities Include
- Owning the planning and execution of select events from start to finish – including stakeholder coordination, budget development, venue selection, catering, and other logistical elements
- Support event team members in the execution and planning of events, including pre-event planning and on-site support
- Contributing to the development of a database that includes vendors, venues, and event technologies
- Manage an inventory of event tools and swag materials on behalf of the communications capability
- Develop an understanding of industry best practices and execute strategies to continuously improve and streamline our planning process
Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 1-3 years’ experience in event planning, administrative support, and/or logistics
- Superior level of attention to detail with demonstrated success in being highly organized
- Self-starter who can jump into projects with a can-do attitude
- Ability to coordinate simultaneous projects and while communicating clearly and consistently with stakeholders in each project
- Strong customer focus and ability to collaborate with teammates across multiple projects
- Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to quickly adapt to change
- Entrepreneurial spirit, humility, and a high sense of urgency
