As a Director of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) on our Accounting & Finance team, you will be a key leader responsible for overseeing the end-to-end P2P process, including vendor management, payment processing, and P-card operations. Your role will directly impact the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations, ensuring vendors are onboarded, processed, and paid promptly. By streamlining processes and leveraging technology, you will drive operational excellence and support the organization’s mission to create a positive societal impact.
How You Will Contribute
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, ensuring timely and accurate performance aligned with service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Oversee the vendor management team, ensuring the successful onboarding and lifecycle management of vendors while fostering strong partnerships.
- Manage the accounts payable team to ensure the accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports, contributing to timely monthly close cycles.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to align the P2P process with organizational goals and strategic objectives.
- Develop, enhance, and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Train and mentor the P2P team, ensuring continuous growth and development.
- Provide support during audits and resolve any issues related to vendor payments or invoices.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or MBA, with a minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) functions.
- Proven experience leading transformational, cross-functional initiatives within P2P operations.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, able to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Motivated, agile, and able to manage time and projects efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, including Sage, Concur, and Salesforce (preferred).
- Enthusiasm for contributing to Stand Together’s principled approach and mission-driven culture.
