Your Responsibilities Include
- Equipping supervisors to strengthen their talent position and integrate business outcomes with talent strategies. Examples could include:
- Assessing talent and current capabilities
- Working with leaders and supervisors to develop talent strategies that strengthen the talent position for the organization (team structures, succession plans, retention strategies, etc.)
- Developing metrics to assess progress on talent objectives
- Build capability in others to use our operating framework, Principle-Based Management (PBM), to drive results
- Partnering with Operations team to develop processes and systems to provide visibility into talent analytics and equip leaders and supervisors to make optimal talent decisions
- Sharping a solid point of view on the talent position that is rooted in both skills and knowledge and also contribution to the culture of the organization
- Working with leaders to perform regular talent assessments
- Ensuring team members are meaningfully connected to the vision and strategy of their business
- Providing clear and substantive feedback and coaching to team members
- Assisting with professional development plans to help team members continually grow their aptitudes and contribution
- Continually striving to drive innovation in HR systems, processes, and best practices
Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization
- High degree of business acumen and a deep interest in learning and applying Principle-Based Management to business challenges
- Ability to build credible partnerships at all levels of the organization and provide effective feedback and challenge that drives accountability and prompts action
- 5+ years of experience in a role focused on talent development and applying HR best practices and compliance standards
- Proven experience creating operating models, organizational design, and talent strategies
- Examples of leading change management initiatives
- Ability to synthesize talent data and provide recommendations or prompt moments of insight
