As Strategic Specialist you will support the Strategic Initiatives team identify and cultivate strategic partnerships to drive social change and solve America's biggest problems by empowering people through Strand Together's diverse capabilities. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful projects and partnerships while supporting a Managing Director in driving the organization’s strategic initiatives forward.
How You Will Contribute
- Conduct in-depth research on people, trends, prospects, and influencers to inform strategy and partnerships.
- Manage contact database and identify potential partners.
- Support Senior Advisor and the team with social media strategy and influencer engagement.
- Develop materials for board meetings and presentations, including analysis and graphs.
- Manage the RFP process for partnerships and grantees, and assist with specific initiatives.
- Create content for web articles, newsletters, and social media posts highlighting program activities and impact.
- Plan, execute, and support logistics for events.
- Support Managing Director and team in managing deadlines and dependencies.
What You Will Bring
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in event planning and execution
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience in database management and strategic outreach.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with the non-profit sector, civic engagement, and partnership development is a plus.
- Salesforce or other CRM management experience
