Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead the development and delivery of narrative storytelling that resonates with Stand Together's mission, showcasing our initiatives as catalysts for societal change.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to produce compelling content that positions Stand Together as a pivotal voice in tackling national challenges.
- Articulate our mission, values, and achievements to a varied audience through your storytelling, engaging donors, stakeholders, partners, and the public.
- Ensure cohesive messaging across all communication channels in partnership with the communications and marketing teams.
- Guide and mentor junior writers in creating meaningful and influential content.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in narrative storytelling, with experience in article writing and email communication.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional writing experience, preferably with a background in journalism. Clips required.
- Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading abilities, evidenced by a portfolio that showcases your skill in engaging diverse audiences.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to evaluate how content resonates using digital and other metrics, with the willingness to adjust strategies to maximize how we reach our audiences.
- Collaborative team player capable of working seamlessly with multiple organizational departments.
- Deep commitment to Stand Together's mission and values.
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to travel as part of your role, engaging with initiatives and communities firsthand to bring authentic stories to our audience.
- Experience writing for a donor audience is a plus.
