Project Manager
Job Description
Stand Together is a philanthropic community that helps America’s boldest changemakers tackle the root causes of our country’s biggest problems, from education to the economy, broken communities, and toxic division, among dozens of other pressing issues. We provide our partners with access to resources including funding, thought leadership, a network of peers, and a playbook for applying proven principles to transform lives and society.
As a Project Manager on our Knowledge Systems team, you will ensure that our community's 1300+ staff are well-connected to resources about our vision, strategies, and performance. The ideal candidate will be ready to roll-up their sleeves to help execute projects on day one, which will help inform the development and refinement of scalable processes and reliable tools that will mature our capability and capacity to deliver high-quality products and resources. This opportunity will give someone an organization-wide view and the ability to drive critical work across our community.
How You Will Contribute
- Develop, refine, and manage durable processes to deliver high-quality communications, events, and products that help staff understand our community’s vision, strategies, and operations; maintain up-to-date documentation that ensures continuity of our operations.
- Manage key team calendars (e.g., internal communications, planning and assessment) and project manage the execution of content on that calendar, including emails, events, and web content.
- Monitor email performance, event attendance, and other metrics to inform recommended pivots.
- Manage SharePoint file libraries as needed.
- Collaborate with other teams (e.g., finance, HR, infrastructure) to ensure the success of our new intranet site, launching in early 2025.
- Conduct content reviews and audits, support content creators, and maintain documentation and training.
- Monitor site usage and report findings to other teams.
- Ensure Knowledge System-owned content is up-to-date.
- Ability to problem solve and move work forward leveraging PBM (Principle Based Management).
What You Will Bring
- Experience working in a highly matrixed environment.
- The ability to handle conflicting or incomplete information – and drive clarity in order to align multiple people on dynamic projects.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to task manage – including with senior leaders.
- An openness to experimentation – we have a lot of opportunity to try new things, and an expectation to improve constantly.
- Some familiarity with SharePoint sites and libraries – or a willingness to learn.
- Experience with internal communications is preferred.
