Grassroots Trainer
Job Description
Your Responsibilities Include
- Facilitate online and in-person training seminars to audiences for an assigned geographic region and across the United States
- Follow-up with training participants to provide support and gain feedback critical to building best practices
- Research, experiment, and innovate best practices among all grassroots campaigns and build an understanding of how to best reach a variety of audiences
- Assist in developing measurement systems to track outcomes and collect information from training exercises
- Build relationships of trust with team members, business partners, activists, and communities
Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization
- You have a deep belief in people, that everyone can contribute and believe in working with anyone to do good to build stronger communities
- You’re an engaging public speaker for small and large groups
- You’re self-motivated and capable of working independently in remote environments
- You're able to build relationships quickly with people from all walks of life and understand how to inspire and motivate others
- You’re able to travel up to 75%
- You’re proficient using online meeting tools like Zoom and Microsoft Teams
Standout Candidates May Also Bring
- You have at least two cycles of direct grassroots experience (phone banks, social media for field recruitment, canvassing, and other grassroots field techniques)
- You’ve presented content virtually
