Job Description
Your Responsibilities Include
- Setting a vision and priorities for the team and leveraging Principles Based Management to accomplish those results
- Driving operational efficiencies and process improvement with scalability at the forefront
- Coaching and developing members of the team to maximize their contribution
- Providing effective and timely financial data to the Financial Planning and Analysis team and support them in their various analytical needs
- Providing support to internal customers at Stand Together community organizations
- Overseeing the monthly close process
- Providing oversight and participating in the preparation of financial information for annual external audits
- Leading the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings
- Overseeing banking relationships and coordinating treasury activities for the various organizations
- Leading financial activities related to financial compliance, ensuring that Stand Together is always adhering to applicable laws and regulations
- Coordinating activities of multiple audit committees
- Assessing risk in accounting and financial processes and establishing appropriate controls
- Supervising the development and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures, and related documentation
- Keeping management aware of emerging accounting pronouncements
