The Implementation Team works with other teams across Americans for Prosperity (AFP) to help implement and provide training on new products from our technology and data partners. We're looking to grow our training capability to help empower our field staff from onboarding through using complex tools to problem solve and grow our communities. The Technical Trainer will be responsible for building relationships and driving performance with participants and business partners, following-up on the implementation of the training for effective application, and measuring results. 

Your Responsibilities Include

  • Work with the director to build a robust technical training capability 
  • Develop and execute training programs and facilitate instructor-led local and distance learning training 
  • Create clear, concise, and comprehensive learning materials suitable for non-technical personnel 
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies to ensure maximum effectiveness of training programs 
  • Conduct train-the-trainer sessions to equip other leaders with the skills and knowledge to further disseminate training 
  • Evaluate the success and impact of training programs, making necessary adjustments for continual improvement 
  • Stay updated with the latest technological trends and advancements to ensure that the training material is always relevant and updated 
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to identify training needs and gaps, and develop strategies to address them 

Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization

  • Proven experience as a Technical Trainer leading training programs and courses 
  • Ability to articulate complex technical concepts into easily understandable terms 
  • Proficiency in various training methodologies while facilitating in-person and remote training sessions 
  • Strong knowledge of the latest industry trends and technologies 
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities 
  • High degree of adaptability to changing technologies and ability to incorporate these into training programs 
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, i360, Quorum
