Financial Planning and Analysis Manager
Job Description
Your Responsibilities Include
- Work closely with capability leaders to formulate their short-term and long-term financial and strategic plans
- Provide forecasts, budgets and variance analysis. This includes providing guidance to other analysts in their forecasts
- Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards, providing internal customers with trends and key insights used for strategic decision making and driving performance
- Relationship building with external clients, team members and other capabilities within the community
- Provide on-demand support for financial projects, collaborate with teams across the community to actively seek and identify opportunities to add value
- Identify creative approaches to solve business and technical problems
- Use various tools to deliver meaningful insights into business performance to help business leaders make more informed decisions and evaluate their effectiveness
- Drive transformational process improvement within FP&A for operational efficiency and effectiveness
Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization
- 5+ years of FP&A experience or related field
- Demonstrates strong abilities and a proven record of success in the following areas:
- Client service and a thorough understanding of the complexity of managing multiple partnerships
- Dealing effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations
- Strong analytical skills with ability to develop insights valuable for decision making
- Self-starting and able to drive and lead with strong sense of urgency
- Building, revamping, and/or enhancing processes to improve operational efficiencies
- Providing recommendations and insights for strategic and operational decisions
- Effective time-management and prioritization skills to manage workload
- Expert in financial forecasting, modeling, drill-down and variance analysis
- Proficiency in financial applications. Adaptive is a plus
- Technical savvy, advanced financial modeling capabilities in Excel and proficiency in PowerPoint
