Communications Manager, Executive Positioning
Job Description
Your Responsibilities Include
- Contribute to the development of Stand Together’s executive positioning strategies.
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders on the crafting of messaging, social media content, op-eds, statements, and briefing documents for executives that align with brand reputation strategies.
- Prepare executives for events and media engagements, ensuring key messages ladder up to Stand Together community priority initiatives and brand strategies.
- Craft and disseminate weekly updates for the communications department and multiple high-profile stakeholders including the CEO and advisory board.
- Support amplification opportunities for major communications campaigns and initiatives.
- Manage planning and logistics for off-record media “salon” dinners with CEO and other executives.
Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization
- 5+ years of experience in executive communications, corporate communications, or public relations.
- Must be a strategic thinker with experience building and leveraging relationships.
- Media relations and event planning experience is a plus.
- Ability to cultivate strong collaborative relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders including senior leaders.
- Experience navigating and influencing outcomes within a highly-matrixed organization.
- Ability to think ahead, problem solve, engage proactively, and take initiative.
- Excellent persuasive writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
