Sr. Administrative Assistant
Job Description
Your Responsibilities Include
- Calendar management. Prioritize a high volume of inquiries and proactively provide solutions-focused alternatives to competing priorities with a high level of attention to detail.
- Partner with other assistants to schedule meetings effectively and efficiently.
- General administrative support. Process expense reports and book and coordinate travel, itineraries, and logistics on behalf of your leaders.
- Identify areas to increase efficiency and innovate to improve administrative processes. Keep an eye out for opportunities to help the administrative team support the organization’s goals more effectively. Identify and learn new tools and techniques to elevate the level of support and partnership the team gives.
- The role will be based in-person in the Ballston, VA office.
Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization
- 3+ years of professional experience.
- A strong desire to be an administrative support professional.
- Experience in a high-volume scheduling environment strongly preferred.
- Astute attention to detail and a drive to take initiative.
- Professional manner and strong interpersonal communication skills, written and verbal.
- A collaborative approach to work where you give and receive feedback respectfully.
- Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality, sound judgement, and ability to creatively problem-solve while maintaining composure.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook (including expertise with Outlook’s calendar function), and PowerPoint.
