Portfolio Manager, Major Gifts
Job Description
Your responsibilities include
- Proactively coordinate and execute Moves Management strategies (a leading relationship management framework for fundraising).
- Identify, source, and execute personalized engagement plans - including communications and events - that fit the individual needs of each donor.
- Serve as the primary strategy liaison between capabilities and departments to ensure effective cross-organization collaboration (e.g. proposal teams, major gift officers, events, communications, and legal department for compliant, accurate, and clean proposal and stewardship products for donor partners).
- In-depth knowledge of donor partners and priorities through participation in meetings, Salesforce review, and regular communications with major gift officers.
- Facilitate a collaborative environment of information sharing by developing internal relationships across the Stand Together community.
- Track all action items, prepare the team and their collaborators for strategy and donor briefings, and coordinate internal and external meetings.
Knowledge and skills you bring to the organization
- 5+ years of experience in a value-focused relationship management environment such as fundraising, outside sales, consulting, or business development.
- Demonstrated marketing and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail in all methods of communication.
- Proven experience in proactively driving multiple concurrent projects to completion through continuous transformation and an entrepreneurial approach.
- High level of humility and integrity.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a multifaceted organization to create a best-in-class experience for our donor partners.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, professionalism, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficient with technology including MS Office suite of products and proficiency with CRMs, such as Salesforce.
