Digital Grassroots Engagement Director, Arizona
Job Description
Your Responsibilities Include
- As a Digital Engagement Director, you’ll work with leaders of community groups in Arizona to influence state and federal policy
- Every day you will talk to people from every background to build momentum around for new ideas that could change everything
- You will partner with other Arizona engagement directors to plan and execute online engagement events to foster online community building
- You’ll develop strategies to identify, engage, organize, and educate local and online community groups to establish coalitions in support of Americans for Prosperity’s initiatives
- You will develop and execute a statewide social media engagement strategy to build brand awareness and grow our grassroots community in Arizona
- You will collaborate with our digital team to develop and execute digital strategies to drive online activism
- You will develop and execute promotional plans for statewide event series and grassroots campaigns
- You will manage grassroots marketing and communications projects
Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization
- You're able to build relationships quickly with people from all walks of life and understand how to inspire and motivate others
- You’ve been successful in recruiting and retaining digital and in-person activists
- You can think of new ways to achieve our goals towards better public policy and develop the detailed plans to get us there through digital and in-person activism
- You’re confident using multiple online platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Sprinklr and other audio and visual editing or creative software products including but not limited to Canva, Photoshop, Adobe
