The Business Development Representative (internally known as Partner Development Representative) is a key role with our innovative and fast-paced Development team and will play a critical part in our donor partner acquisition strategy and process. As a Partner Development Representative, you will be responsible for targeting, engaging, and qualifying prospective partners to build a quality pipeline through working leads from inbound marketing efforts and conducting outbound prospecting. Successful candidates will be highly energetic, driven professionals with sound business acumen, strong technical aptitude, and an instinct in recognizing mutual benefit.
What You Will Do
- In collaboration with the Development leadership team and the Growth capability, develop and execute demand generation and lead generation strategy campaigns
- Partner with frontline fundraisers and marketing teams to accelerate and convert leads into opportunities
- Play a role in coordinated account-based marketing campaigns
- Uncover, qualify, nurture, and build opportunities within assigned portfolios. Drive on both incoming leads from marketing campaigns as well as making outbound outreach to target accounts to build quality pipelines
- Maintain active engagement through creative follow-up communications across multiple channels (email, phone, direct mail, etc) designed to increase demand and nurture
- Capture prospecting moves using Salesforce
What You Will Bring
- 3+ years of experience in enterprise sales or business development roles for B2B or B2C

- Highly motivated and goal-oriented, with a passion for sales and business development. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proactive and entrepreneurial with a willingness to learn and adapt to new strategies and techniques
- Strong organization and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships quickly both internally and externally
- Must be self-motivated ambitious and possess a winning attitude
- Ability to multi-task prioritize and manage time effectively
