As the Senior Director, Partnerships on our Development team, you will lead and supervise the team that is responsible for a best-in-class donor experience by identifying engagement and stewardship opportunities with Stand Together partners. To succeed in this role, you will have supervising experience and a background in fundraising or consultative sales. Your role will serve as a strategic leader, as well as cultivating and developing talent.
What You Will Do
- You will build and lead a team to grow win-win partnerships with some of the most influential people in the country to achieve our ambitious goals to positively affect the human condition.
- Elevate the importance of the Stand Together relationship with these partners to be one of the top priorities in their lives.
- Work with the team to create and articulate compelling value propositions associated with the benefits of partnering with Stand Together to drive positive social change and empower individuals to overcome barriers.
- Teach and infuse world class revenue generation skills and aptitudes into partnership teams, including portfolio planning, opportunity planning, and applying data driven insights.
- Collaborate with talented cross functional teams to devise and execute impactful strategic plans to grow revenues across the entire partner portfolio.
- Drive a positive, accountable culture that cultivates win-win relationships based on mutual value creation.
What You Will Bring
- Enthusiasm to contribute to Stand Together's vision and principled approach to solving problems, and a commitment to stewarding our culture, which champions values including transformation and innovation, entrepreneurialism, humility, and respect.
- 5+ years of experience in a value-focused relationship management environment such as fundraising, outside sales, consulting, or business development.
- 2+ years of supervising experience. Strong supervisory experience with a demonstrated background in cultivating and developing talent while driving growth.
- Demonstrated experience and leadership in strategic sales cycles, moves management, and stewardship (providing and articulating value) outreach with 8+ figure portfolios.
- Deep familiarity with partner journey/sales cycle process and enablement developing talent while driving extraordinary growth.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, professionalism, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficient with technology including MS Office suite of products and proficiency with CRMs, such as Salesforce.
- Ability to travel up to 20% within the United States.
